Calls on the Member States and the wood industry to make substantial contributions to ensure that as many areas are reforested as are deforested;
Calls on the Member States to ensure that the National Strategic Plans under the CAP will incentivise forest managers to preserve, grow and manage forests sustainably
Calls on the Commission and the Member States to create economic and policy instruments that will allow more forest to grow to their ecological potential and absorb carbon dioxide
