What it asks for, in the Parliament's words

• Calls on the Commission and the Member States to promote multilingualism as an important tool that brings people together
• Calls on the Member States to refrain from making budget cuts to education programmes, as doing so may leave less room for discussions on cross-cultural awareness and anti-racism[25]
• Calls on the Commission to ensure that the anti-racism coordinator is given adequate resources and that the work of mainstreaming racial equality throughout EU policies is shared by all DGs
