• Calls on the Commission to ensure a smooth and rapid implementation of the new regulatory measures, while ensuring synergies and avoiding overlap with or duplications of existing and upcoming measures
• Deplores the earlier killer acquisitions that fell outside the scope of the EC Merger Regulation[20]
• Welcomes the ongoing review of State aid rules, which aims to ensure consistency with both established and new regulatory principles relevant to the twin transition
