• Calls on the Commission, when assessing the CAP strategic plans, to focus on the extent to which they simplify matters and reduce administrative burdens for the final beneficiaries
• Calls on the Commission to contribute to improving the common understanding of the Single Audit approach in order to achieve a more uniform interpretation and implementation of this model across the Member States
• Welcomes the Commission’s ‘EU budget focused on results’ strategy, aimed at improving the efficiency of spending and achieving more with the available resources
