What it asks for, in the Parliament's words

• Calls on all NGOs and entities committed to full transparency and accountability, the EU Charter and promoting democratic and EU values, to request to be included in the Transparency Register when applying for EU funds
• Considers that an NGO should not be financed 100 % by the state and the Commission in order to be considered an NGO
• Recalls that transparency and accountability should not be used to curtail the space for independent civil society or to silence critical voices
